HARAJUKU, I love that place. Please visit there.
Plus plus I found a Johnny's store there. But srsly, maybe I was expecting too much of idol stuff so Johnny's made me horrible ultra-ly amazingly deflated. Sucks. I was expecting like idol stuff, y'know, Idol stuff like tee shirts, woots woots. BUT ALL I SAW WAS WALLS AND WALLS OF PICTURES. Wtheck, I can't appreciate, everyone was busy ticking the pictures that they wanted, I felt that it was a waste of money no matter how big of a fan you are. There were several goodies but... not the band I like. The usual goodies, photo case, fans? =.= Srsly, just... keep your expectations low.
Anyway, now, yes now, after Christmas is a jolly good time to shop at Harajuku. Heh heh. I didn't buy a lot luh, but there are definitely good buys. I bought a hell lot of vintage necklaces, y'know those long type then there will be a golden brown object hanging, totally, my type of necklace. Hell yea, wheee, especially one with a design of tape, as in the tape which the older generation uses. It was at 50% off, Hip hip horray, cost around 10 dollars sing. Yayness.
Yep, another place to visit in Harajuku is to the Burberry blue label shops. My mom enjoys but not me cause I can't afford. Anw, it's awesome cause it's cheaper than Burberry itself BUT IT'S NOT SOME FAKE THING FYI, it's just sold ONLY to the Japan market, so cool right!! Japanese are so privillege. Yep, so it's def worth cause you def cant get it in Singapore. Heh heh.
No matter how life's good in Japan, I cant stay for long, SOL is
JUST TOO HIGH. Train tickets, x3/4/5 more than Singapore's!! From the airport, prbly 15 mins ride from airport, it cost us 30 odd Sing. Super ex. To prove that fact, Japan's car is cheaper than the parking lot they've to buy!! Madness. And people can only rent houses because it's nearly impossible to buy a house. Too expensive. A whole new world in Japan. And there are people who says that Japan and Singapore are similar. My foot. I was so awed by Japan.
In the shopping mall, when it's closing they'll stop the escalators so that people will not be able to come in so you can only take the elevators to get out of the mall, and they'll def be a lot of people!! AND GUESS WHAT, PEOPLE QUEUE UP OKAY!!! Queue up outside the elevator. Everything's super orderly without any commands whatsoever. Impressed (: Btw, it's mission impossible in Singapore I bet. Lmao.Anw, in Harajuku, you can just walk till you drop :) And I'm going there tmr again!! Kind of excited, cause I wanner get a shoe that I eyed at the corner of my eye. Lol, see price first. Oh yea, though I left 75 yen, Dad gave me quite a sum tday, but I kind of spend half of it tday. :X I'm doing my part to encourage the economy luhhhh. Hahaha.
PS: Jessica's tokyo tower bldy expensive. ROAR.
Amanda :) Have fun!
